We do all our routine maintenance and our technicians tell me it’s a very easy engine to work on.I like the D13 for a lot reasons: it’s a tough engine. But mainly I like the fuel economy we’re getting. A lot of that has to do with mating up with the Volvo I-Shift. That’s a pretty unbeatable package right there. We buy extended warranty. So I don’t see a whole lot of issues with the engine that Volvo doesn’t take care of. Really, we don’t have any issues outside of some after-treatment problems – but I consider that an exhaust issue and not an engine issue. We do all our routine maintenance and our technicians tell me it’s a very easy engine to work on.
